Let’s Mellow Out

Hello music lovers. Today is all about music to zone out to.

I'm writing to you today to share a few of my favorite songs for relaxing. Whether you're looking for something to listen to after a long day at work, to enjoy on a romantic evening with your significant other, or to simply take a few minutes for yourself, I hope you'll find something you like on this list.

Breathe- Nana Njonge (ft. Africanvic)

I recently revisited this song and I've been listening to it on repeat for the past few days.

From the first lick of the bass guitar that is soon joined by Njonge's soothing vocals. Africanvic's verse adds a balance to the song, but never overpowers Njonge's vocals. The overall effect is a song that is both relaxing and uplifting.

The lyrics of "Breathe" are simple but meaningful. Being intimate with your significant other can breath taking and you can easily loose yourself. This song reminds us to take your time, enjoy the moment, but most of all breathe.

I highly recommend "Breathe" by Nana Njonge and Africanvic. It's a beautiful song with a powerful message.

Katera- No Phone Calls

"No Phone Calls" is a laid-back, mellow tune with a pleasant melody and understandable lyrics.

The theme of the song is wanting to unwind and take a break from the daily grind and everyone in it. Certainly, I can identify with that feeling! I sometimes just need some time to myself, away from the outside world.

The production, even though it’s highly used by a lot of artist, is one of my favorites and is excellent for setting a tranquil mood. When you're feeling anxious or overburdened, this song is ideal for listening to. Additionally, it's a nice tune to listen to while relaxing at home or driving.

Carmichael Musiclover- Pot of Gold

If you haven’t heard this classic , you have definitely been missing out. This classic song has been and will remain in heavy rotation with me.

From the opening lyrics of this song, we get the sense that life has thrown a few curve balls and monkey wrenches into the plans. As the song progresses, Carmichael lets us know that as long as he has a strong woman by his side they both can make it through the hard times viewing her as pot of gold that has enriched his life and the sentiment is reciprocated by the woman in his life.
