Velvet Niquel Soul

Hey neo soul lovers,

We're back! We know it's been a while since we've sent out a newsletter, but we've been hard at work behind the scenes working on a new website, listening to new music, and finding the best new soul artists to share with you.

In the coming weeks, we'll be bringing you reviews of new albums, and playlists of the latest and greatest soul music from some fantastic artist. We're so excited to be back and we can't wait to share all the new music with you.

Thanks for being patient with us. We hope you enjoy the newsletter!

Sincerely, The Velvet Niquel Soul Newsletter Team

Let’s Review Some Great Artist

Tay Iwar

I've been a fan of Tay Iwar for a few years now, and I'm always excited to hear new music from him. His sound is a blend of neo soul, R&B, and hip hop, and his lyrics are always honest and introspective.

I first heard Tay Iwar's music on a friend's recommendation, and I was immediately hooked. His voice is smooth and soulful, and his songs are full of emotion.

If you're a fan of neo soul, R&B, or hip hop, I highly recommend checking out Tay Iwar's music. He's a talented artist with a lot to offer, and I know you'll enjoy his music as much as I do.

Ogranya

Born Ogranya Jable Osai, this Nigerian singer-songwriter is now more commonly referred to as simply "Ogranya." His transition from architect to musician was influenced by African and American artists. Their music influenced Ogranya to create his own special brand of Afro-soul, which he now performs around the world. "I'm an Afro-soul artist who has the joy of being able to swing in and out of genres," he claims.

Juls

Born on October 25, 1985, Julian Nii Ayitey Adjin Nicco-Annan is a British-Ghanaian record producer, DJ, and musician better known by his stage name Juls. In the diaspora, he is regarded as one of the first producers of African music, particularly in the Afrobeats community. He is well known for producing songs like "Feel Alright" by Show Dem Camp, "Rudebwoi Love" by Stonebwoy, and "Gwarn" by Burna Boy, all of which have had over two million views on YouTube. He also produced Bankulize and "Skin Tight" by Mr. Eazi. He has worked on A&R for Mr. Eazi's Life is Eazi album and has partnered with labels including BBnz Live, Toko Beatz, Stereofly Records, Cosmic Harmony, and Lost Ones.

Again I'm so sorry for the long hiatus of the Velvet Niquel Soul newsletter. We've been working on some exciting new things behind the scenes, and we wanted to make sure they were ready before we sent out another issue.

We know you've been missing your weekly dose of neo soul news and music, and we appreciate your patience. We promise that this won't happen again.

Thanks for being a loyal reader of Velvet Niquel Soul. We're so excited to share all the new things we're working on with you.
